Betty Bayo Pronounced Dead After Battling Blood Cancer

Betty Bayo passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025 at about 1:03 pm while receiving treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) in Nairobi, Kenya.
Her death was caused by complications from blood cancer (leukemia). She had been hospitalised after suffering excessive bleeding and undergoing treatment.
The family stated that she had only been unwell since the previous week before being transferred to KNH.
She had plans for a birthday getaway with her son, but these were cut short by her illness.
The gospel music community and public figures expressed tributes, emphasising her legacy and the impact of her song “11th Hour”.
